Practise, Reflect, Share: Ways into Research was a one-day symposium hosted by The Stanislavski Centre and Stanislavski Studies at Rose Bruford College. I was invited to give a short introduction to the Journal of Embodied Research, but I also talked about the Songwork Catalogue.
From the event description:
Aimed primarily at those involved in the training of performers, directors, designers and technicians, this one-day event hosted by Rose Bruford College offers a unique opportunity to meet with colleagues and explore ways of highlighting, discussing and reflecting on your work as teachers, practitioners and researchers.
Activities will include presentations and provocations, round-table discussions and a chance to meet with colleagues and explore ways of collaborating, sharing good practice and disseminating your work, especially as research. Guest speakers and presenters at this event include Miguel Mera, Aleks Sierz and Talia Rodgers.
The event will explore practice as research but if you are interested in text-based publishing and are unsure of who to approach or the best way of going about this, there will be an opportunity to meet with the editors of a range of journals including Theatre, Dance and Performance Training, Stanislavski Studies, Theatre and Performance Design and the Journal of Embodied Research.
