JER 4.2: Special issue of illuminated videos

This special issue of the Journal of Embodied Research comprises thirteen “illuminated” videos, ranging in duration from less than three minutes to more than thirty. Together, they explore and demonstrate the potential of textual annotation to illuminate uncut audiovisual material. In each case, the underlying video is unedited, while the annotations or “illuminations” range from the poetic to the explanatory and the theoretical.
