Practice Research Arts Cluster
University of Lincoln
Tuesday 25 June 2024

The PRAC workshops and training sessions, led by guests, colleagues and postgraduate students from both our university and the broader academic community, offer a rich exploration of diverse practice research methods and approaches. Emphasising collaboration, these sessions will create a dynamic and generous space for making, making, sharing, and discussing practice research with peers.

What is critical race creative arts studies? How could an organisation like University of Lincoln face matters of race and decoloniality, whiteness and capitalism, to develop a planetary perspective? How does it feel to come together in Lincoln in a time of intensifying climate catastrophe, ongoing genocide, and widening crisis in higher education? How can we cultivate radical hope and critical action in these times? What kinds of solidarities and coalitions are possible? How can we use arts based methods to undertake these enquires? Is another world still possible?
